Orla Kiely Fall 2012 Lookbook

I'm not great at tracking all the fall lines coming from the boutique designers... But over the past year I have fallen head over heels with the Orla Kiely line... and this fall campaign is a perfect example of why.

Im just adoring these collars... the typically gorgeous orla kiely prints... the sixties vibe... and the fact that the photos look like they are on film. Film photography is becoming slightly more common for small scale fashion shoots: a trend which I most happily approve of.

This looks EXACTLY like the bar of a hostel I stayed at in London. It was pretty seventies-tastic too.

Orla Kiely has only a few stores in the world, one of them being in *drumroll* Covent Gardens! Guess who shall be visiting that in a few weeks.

Beginnings

I always find first posts a bit intimidating. It needs to be FANTASTIC and THOUGHTFUL and REPRESENTATIONAL and CHALLENGE THE SYSTEM.

Ok. Maybe not that last one. 

But still, I put off this post for a few days cause I was too concerned with how I began this blog. How we began this blog.

Until I realized what this blog is about: loves.

So the perfect way to begin this blog is simple. We shall write about things we love.

There. Said it. Love them like they were my own. So, with their new album Babel out today... I can easily say I am a happy camper. Review pending. Until then...
